Amrozi bin Nurhasyim, Death sentence
An Indonesian court has found an Islamic militant guilty of last October's Bali bombing and sentenced him to death.
Over 200 people were killed in the attack, many of them foreign tourists.
Amrozi bin Nurhasyim smiled broadly and shook his fists in the air after he was sentenced. He again smiled and shook his fists in apparent triumph as police led him out of court.
The judge said he has seven days to decide whether to appeal. His lawyers have indicated that the verdict will be appealed.
Amrozi was the first person to be arrested in connection with the attack and the first to appear before the courts.
His conviction comes two days after a car bomb attack outside a Jakarta hotel, in which 14 people were killed and 150 were injured.
