An American soldier has been killed in a rocket attack north of Baghdad. Three other US troops were wounded.

The soldiers were in a convoy when the rocket propelled grenade was fired at them.

Yesterday, an Iraqi woman was killed by US soldiers who had come under fire in the Mansur district of Baghdad.

Meanwhile, the bodies of Saddam Hussein's sons Uday and Qusay have been buried in the Northern Iraqi town of Tikrit.

Uday and Qusay Hussein were killed in a fierce gun-battle with US troops last week. Qusay's 14-year-old son who was also killed was buried with his father.

Their bodies were wrapped in Iraqi flags and buried in a local cemetery, after they had been transported from Baghdad in an ambulance.

There was a heavy US military presence and journalists were prevented from photographing or filming the burial.
