The Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has told US President George W. Bush that Israel will continue to build a security fence in the West Bank.
President Bush has already said the construction of the fence is a problem for the Middle East peace process.
The Palestinian Information Minister has described Mr Sharon's comments as entirely negative.
The US president said he and Mr Sharon would continue to discuss the 'sensitive issue'.
