Judgement reserved in Gilligan appeal

The Court of Criminal Appeal has reserved judgement on the appeal by John Gilligan against his conviction on drug charges.

The appeal concluded today after a seven day hearing.

Gilligan was convicted by the Special Criminal Court in March 2001 of possession of cannabis resin and having the drug for sale or supply and was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
