Lord Saville
Christmas target
Lord Saville has indicated that the Bloody Sunday inquiry hopes to complete the hearings of oral evidence by Christmas.
He has also appealed to all those with information that might assist the inquiry but who have not come forward to do so.
When the inquiry returns to the Guildhall in Derry it will hear from the Official IRA witnesses as well as Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness.
Lord Saville said the power of subpoena is still being considered with regard to a few cases where a traced individual has remained unresponsive.
He continued that if significant evidence that could be given is not given, it will be a grave disservice to the search for truth of Bloody Sunday and to those, particularly the relatives, who have so long sought it.
