News At One: Paul Cullen of 'The Irish Times' says a deal has been rumoured for some time now
In a statement published yesterday, Mr Justice Fergus Flood denied media reports that he had made an agreement with the former Fianna Fáil Minister's legal team before the start of his evidence four years ago.
When the Tribunal resumes its public hearing in the next few weeks, Mr Justice Flood is expected to rule that Mr Burke and other witnesses who were found to have hindered the Tribunal's work should pay their own legal costs.
