Peter Hollingworth
Court drops charge
A court in Australia has dismissed a case in which the country's Governor-General was accused of raping a woman 40 years ago.
Peter Hollingworth, who is 68, stood aside from his official position as Queen Elizabeth's representative earlier this month after issuing a public denial of the accusation.
He had already been under pressure to resign over a paedophile scandal involving a priest in his diocese while he was an Anglican archbishop.
