A man in his 30s remains in a critical condition in hospital in Dublin after an assault in the Grafton Street area of the city at the weekend.
It is understood the man fell off a bicycle into a group of men who then attacked him.
Gardaí say the incident happened between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday morning.
They have appealed to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information to come forward.
