NBRU to ballot over privatisation

The National Bus And Railworkers Union is to ballot its members in Dublin Bus, Bus Eireann and Iarnrod Eireann on industrial action over plans by Seamus Brennan.

The minister for transport intends to partly privatise the CIE group.

The ballot starts tomorrow and will take two weeks to complete.
