A Pakistani is among five men arrested in Spain on suspicion of involvement in the suicide attack on a synagogue on the island of Djerba.

21 people died in the attack.

The other four men are described as 'Spanish nationals'.

Spanish officials say four of the men were arrested in the city of Valencia, and the fifth in the northern town of Logrono.

Police searched the homes of the suspects and confiscated documents and other items.

Al-Qaeda was reported last year to have claimed responsibility for the truck bombing of the El Ghriba synagogue, in which 14 German and two French citizens were killed.
