Arab League Foreign Ministers are meeting in Cairo to discuss a possible diplomatic solution to the Iraqi crisis.
The meeting will prepare the ground for a summit of Arab leaders which is being held in Egypt in a week's time.
The Arab League has already said that UN weapons inspectors must be given all the time they need to complete their work.
Geneva conference considers impact of war
An international conference is discussing what humanitarian aid measures should be taken in the event of war in Iraq is entering its final day in the Swiss city of Geneva.
Representatives from 29 governments and many aid agencies are taking part.
After the first days' session, Jordan's Foreign Affairs Minister was quoted as saying 'Iraq's neighbours would need more financial help then they received after the 1991 Gulf War.'
The Turkish Red Crescent has said it is ready for a huge influx of refugees, who will also need more support.
