A new partnership deal has been agreed in principle tonight, but farming groups say they have been excluded from the process.
A short time ago, the final session of partnership negotations ended with employers, unions and community and voluntary groups agreeing to consider a final text for a partnership agreement.
However, farming groups say the agreement is effectively a €2bn public sector pay deal.
The president of the IFA John Dillion, said that national partnership had broken down and that the farming community were worse off after the negotiations than before they started.
