Daylong searches by Gardaí and the Army for two missing Limerick brothers have been unsuccessful.

Fears have been growing for Eddie and Kieran Ryan, who were taken away at gunpoint on Thursday night in an incident believed to be linked to a family feud.

They have been missing for almost three nights and Gardaí have renewed an appeal to their captors to release them.

They are also asking people living and walking in the countryside to be on the alert for any activity which might raise their suspicions.
