Donaldson comments on working alliance

The dissident Ulster Unionist MP, Jeffrey Donaldson, has said that he would like to see his party and the DUP working more closely together.

Speaking on RTE's This Week programme, he said that a closer working alliance between the two had to happen.

He also implicitly attacked the Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, saying that if a leader gets too far ahead of his people, his leadership becomes redundant.
