Fine Gael suffered a major setback in the general election in the Dublin area and the Group will focus on the situation in the capital ahead of the local poll in 2004.
Speaking at the launch party leader Enda Kenny said he had spoken to frontbencher John Deasy who had criticised the early release of Dessie O'Hare in defiance of the official Fine Gael stance.
Mr Deasy, who is party spokesman on Justice, also spoke out last month criticising the Northern policy of former leader John Bruton.
Asked whether he had reprimanded the Waterford deputy Mr Kenny, described their encounter as a 'clear the air' meeting.
