UN inspectors resume search for weapons

United Nations weapons inspectors have resumed their searches for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after a one-day break.

They first travelled to a military industrial complex south of Baghdad and later made an unannounced visit to a small military base north of Baghdad.

Reports say the inspectors appeared to have been tipped off that an anti-aircraft unit might be harbouring illegal weapons.
