CIÉ Board to appear before Committee

The Board of CIÉ is being asked to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee to brief it on its Strategic Rail Review.

The strategic rail review is due to be completed in the coming weeks.

The CIÉ board today postponed a decision on cutbacks in lossmaking services at the request of the Minister for Transport, Seamus Brennan, pending completion of the review.
