A Fianna Fáil TD has predicted that the December budget will be the toughest in ten years.
On the eve of a two-day meeting of TDs and senators in Killarney, Deputy Sean Fleming told RTÉ that he would be asking ministers to spell out the context in which spending adjustments were taking place.
Jim Glennon, TD for Dublin North, said there was serious dissatisfaction on the streets with reductions in spending.
