President Bush, Accusations rejected by Iraq
Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz has rejected accusations directed at his country by the United States President George Bush.
Speaking in Baghdad, Mr Aziz said that the US had turned down Iraq's offers to check for weapons of mass destruction as it was seeking a reason to justify an invasion into Iraq.
Mr Bush yesterday warned the United Nations risked becoming "irrelevant" if it did not stand up to Saddam Hussein.
The President was speaking at Camp David during a visit by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
