Castletown wins Tidy Towns award

The town of Castletown in County Laois has won this year's tidy town competition.

Castletown was chosen from more than 700 towns and villages around the country to take the overall prize.

Lismore in County Waterford was awarded the title of tidiest small town, while Ennis in County Clare was chosen as Ireland's tidiest large town.

Castletown also received the title of Ireland's tidiest village.
