Man appears in court over Rathcoole drugs find

The manager of the Slade Valley equestrian club outside Rathcoole in County Dublin has appeared in court charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply.

Detectives investigating one of the country's biggest drug trafficking gangs found 485 kilos of cannabis and a quantity of arms and ammunition buried at the club.

Ray Molloy, 30, was charged with possession of cannabis at the Poitín Stil in Rathcoole, County Dublin on 16 August.

He was remanded in custody for a week.
