McAleese begins Greece visit today

President Mary McAleese has begun a three-day state visit to Greece today.

Mrs McAleese and her husband, Martin, will be the guests of honour this evening at a dinner hosted by the Greek President, Constantinos Stephanopolous.

She will also meet the Prime Minister, Costas Simitis, as well as opposition leaders and the Mayor of Athens.
