Workers at the Irish Glass Bottle Company in Ringsend have voted overwhelmingly to accept a Labour Court recommendation on severance terms.
Workers at the Irish Glass Bottle Company in Ringsend have voted overwhelmingly to accept a Labour Court recommendation on severance terms. The package provides for five weeks pay per year of service, including statutory entitlements.
The company is due to close in July with the loss of 375 jobs.
Ardagh, which owns the company, has already said that it cannot afford to pay the Labour Court terms, which are almost twice what the company first offered to its staff.
