Violence erupts after World Cup match

Russian football fans have gone on the rampage in Moscow following the country's World Cup defeat by Japan, reportedly killing one man and injuring at least 20 others.

The violence happened near the Kremlin after Russia lost by one goal to nil.

Reports from Russia said the man died from stab wounds as mass brawls erupted.

Special forces police were ordered into the centre of Moscow in an attempt to bring the situation under control.
