ESSO announces €70m investment

ESSO Ireland is investing €70m in extending its food and shopping offerings at 41 of its Irish petrol stations.

ESSO Ireland is investing €70m in extending its food and shopping offerings at 41 of its Irish petrol stations.

The company says the investment will create up to 200 new jobs when complete. The investment will see more shopping facilities and cafe-style services in ESSO garages.

Esso Ireland chairman, Declan Collier, said the investment demonstrated the company's faith in the Irish economy and its potential for continued growth.
