Gardaí investigating Dublin murder

Gardaí in Dublin have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in his workshop in front of his home in Drimnagh.

Gardaí in Dublin have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in his workshop in front of his home in Drimnagh. The 26-year-old father of one was shot twice at around 10.30pm last night.

Gardaí believe the killer used a sawn-off shotgun and may have escaped in an orange Peugeot car. They have described him as around 5'6" and dressed in a distinctive tracksuit.

Gardai say they are anxious to speak to anyone who might have witnessesed the attack. It is not believed that there was any drugs or gangland involvement.
