Justice Minister John O'Donoghue has said that he has "nothing to hide" regarding the letters exchanged between himself and former Junior Environment Minister Bobby Molloy. In an interview on 5/7 Live, Mr O'Donoghue said that he had ordered a complete trawl of his office yesterday and that he had released everything that had been found.

Earlier this afternoon Mr O'Donoghue disclosed that a total of 14 letters were exchanged between himself and former Minister of State Bobby Molloy on the Patrick Naughton court case.

In one of letters Mr O'Donoghue tells Mr Molloy that a request for temporary release for Mr Naughton could not be considered because he was awaiting sentence after being convicted. The letters were exchanged between March of last year and February of this year.
