Gardaí investigating a so-called vigilante attack in which a man was abducted and beaten last December have arrested a 36-year-old man for questioning. He is the sixth man to be arrested in connection with the investigation within the past week.
Sinn Féin's Director of Elections in North Kerry was arrested in connection with the same investigation last Friday. James Sheehan has denied any involvement.
The man currently being questioned was arrested in the Tralee area this morning. He is being questioned at Killarney Garda station.
