Armagh device contained explosives and nails

Police in the North say the device which exploded in a traffic cone near Armagh yesterday contained a quantity of high explosives and nails.

The device, which was left on the Newtownhamilton Road, detonated when it was moved by two teenage boys who sustained minor injuries to their hands and lower legs. A group calling itself the Catholic Reaction Force later claimed that it had left the device.
