Detectives hunting the killer of two teenagers on the Isle of Man have said the victims were strangled.

Detectives hunting the killer of two teenagers on the Isle of Man have said the victims were strangled. The bodies of George James Green and his friend Samantha Barton, who were both 16, were found a quarter of a mile apart near Douglas, the island's capital, at the weekend.

Both had been in the care of Health and Social services and Samantha's body was discovered at a care home for troubled teenagers. British Home Office pathologists and forensic scientists have travelled to the island to help detectives hunting the murderer. More than 100 officers are already involved in the investigation.
