INLA warns ceasefire is under threat

The Republican paramilitary group, the INLA, has warned that attacks by Loyalists against Nationalists are putting its ceasefire under increasing strain.

The Republican paramilitary group, the INLA, has warned that attacks by Loyalists against Nationalists are putting its ceasefire under increasing strain. The group also called for the release from jail in the Republic of one of its leading members Dessie O'Hare who, it claims, is entitled to be freed under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. The SDLP Assembly member Alban Maginness criticised the statement as menacing.
