Gardaí appeal for information on fatal accident

Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to yesterday's road accident in which two women and a man were killed, near Cahir, South Tipperary.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to yesterday's road accident in which two women and a man were killed, near Cahir, South Tipperary. Two cars were involved in the crash, which happened at Toureen on the Waterford to Limerick Road at 2.40pm.

Those who died were 45-year-old Donal O'Dowda, and his 50-year-old partner, Breda Neill, both from Faithlegg, County Waterford, and 20-year-old Katie Rossiter from Illinois. Her seven-month-old daughter is recovering in hospital in Cashel.
