The last remaining structure at the Ground Zero site in New York has been cleared. The 50-foot remainder of the outer wall of the north tower was demolished yesterday.

Ironworkers began dismantling the structure earlier in the week. Using blowtorches, workers were able to cut away the last fragments of the facade for a possible memorial.

Several weeks ago remnants of the south tower were also removed.
