The Ceann Comhairle has said that he will not be taking any further action against Independent TD Tom Gildea after complaints from Cable Management Ireland.
The company lodged a complaint after he said that it had financially supported former Justice Minister, Nora Owen.
In a statement to the Dáil this afternoon, Seamus Pattison said that he had been in correspondence with CMI and with Mr Gildea.
Mr Gildea had written to him confirming that his statement of withdrawal remarks covered his remarks concerning the company concerned.
