Inquiry into fatal Kerry accident

The Health and Safety Authority is carrying out an investigation into an accident in which a builder was killed.

The Health and Safety Authority is carrying out an investigation into an accident in which a builder was killed. The Kerry man died after he was electrocuted in a compound close to Castleisland, County Kerry.

It is believed that the accident happened as the man was loading a lorry using a small mobile crane which touched an overhead cable. The man's body has been taken to Tralee hospital for a post mortem examination.
