Tralee festival set to record a profit

It is reported that the Rose of Tralee festival has halved its debts this year and the festival is on course to record a profit.

It is reported that the Rose of Tralee festival has halved its debts this year and the festival is on course to record a profit. Debts of up to £400,000 had threatened the future of the festival.

It is estimated to be worth £20m to Kerry every year. Speaking to RTÉ News, festival chief executive, Noreen Casey said that because of its economic value to the county she expects the festival to endure.
