Milosevic's wife granted Dutch visa

The wife of the former President of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, has been granted a visa to visit him in prison near The Hague. Mira Markovic's name is on an official EU blacklist which officially bars her from entering the Netherlands, but the Dutch government said that it had decided to grant the visa under strict conditions. The visa was issued at the special request of the UN War Crimes Tribunal. Mr Milosevic is facing war crimes charges.
