The government has issued a decree allowing the former Yugoslav leader to be extradited to face war crimes charges. Mr Milosevic claims that the law, which was passed on Saturday, is unconstitutional.
Mr Milosevic is wanted at The Hague on charges relating to war crimes committed against ethnic Albanians in Kosovo in 1998 and 1999. He has been in jail since 1 April on domestic charges of corruption and abuse of power.
