Fallen power lines cause traffic problems

Power lines knocked down by a truck closed both sides of the M50 near the Finglas exit earlier today.

Power lines knocked down by a truck closed both sides of the M50 near the Finglas exit earlier today. There were eight to ten mile tailbacks in either direction. The ESB said that the traffic could not proceed past a certain point until the power lines were cut away or put back up. There was no loss of supply to homes.
