Businessman, Tony O'Reilly, has said that he is precluded by stock exchange rules from making any comment on his interest in buying Eircom's fixed line business. At today's Waterford Wedgewood AGM, a company chaired by Sir Tony, he refused to answer a series of questions from journalists about his interest in Eircom. When questioning continued, he brought the impromptu press conference to a halt by walking away.
