Bosnian Serb commander denies genocide

The Bosnian Serb commander accused of massacring thousands of Muslims in the Bosnian town of Srebrenica in 1995 has pleaded not guilty to genocide.

The Bosnian Serb commander accused of massacring thousands of Muslims in the Bosnian town of Srebrenica in 1995 has pleaded not guilty to genocide and other war crimes charges at the International Tribunal in The Hague. Dragan Obrenovic was arrested by NATO troops on Sunday. More than 7,000 Muslims were killed in what is regarded as the worst atrocity in Europe since the Second World War.
