Four people have been taken to hospital following a single car accident involving near Newcastlewest in County Limerick. It happened about one mile outside the town on a stretch of road known as the Bruff line. It appears the car went out of control and ended up in a field. A number of units of the fire brigade and an ambulance were called to the scene. A spokesperson for Limerick Regional hospital said that three of the four people taken to the hospital are now stable.
