Westlife's Kian injured in Sligo incident

Kian Egan of Westlife was taken to Sligo General Hospital in the early hours of this morning, following an incident in the town in which he suffered a nose injury and a broken tooth.

Kian Egan of Westlife was taken to Sligo General Hospital in the early hours of this morning, following an incident in the town in which he suffered a nose injury and a broken tooth. The incident took place shortly after 4am outside the Abrakebabra take-away restaurant in Grattan Street. Gardaí say that the incident is under investigation. Westlife are due to begin a number of concerts in the Point Depot tonight, and it is understood that Kian left his family home in Sligo to head for Dublin, a short time ago.
