Yugoslavia committed to co-operation - Kostunica

The recently installed President of Yugoslavia, Vojislav Kostunica, has told other Balkan leaders that his government is now committed to co-operation instead of conflict.

The recently installed President of Yugoslavia, Vojislav Kostunica, has told other Balkan leaders that his government is now committed to co-operation instead of conflict. Mr Kostunica was speaking at a regional summit of Balkan countries in the Macedonian capital, Skopje. The meeting is also being attended by the EU and the United States; the US representative, Richard Holbrooke, and President Kostunica, are expected to discuss Yugoslavia's readmission to the United Nations.
