Gardaí have found the jeep which they believe was used to knock down and kill a young man in Dublin's south city in the early hours of this morning. David Keating, aged 21, from Dellaforde Grove in Templeogue died following a row with a motorist on the South Circular Road at 5.30am. He died from his injuries at St James' hospital just after eight o'clock this morning. The jeep, which was found in Crumlin, has been taken to the Garda Technical Bureau for forensic examination. Gardaí are still searching for the driver and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The dead man was one of four youths who was walking down the South Circular Road when they reached the junction of Victoria Street. A grey Frontera jeep drove over a pedestrian way in front of them. One of the men shouted at the driver who got out and a verbal row ensued. When the 21-year-old man became involved in the row the driver got back into his jeep and drove it at him, fatally injuring him.
