12-year-old boy hospitalised following Croagh Patrick fall

The Aer Corp helicopter from Finner has airlifted a 12-year-old boy who fell on Croagh Patrick to a hospital in Castlebar.

The Aer Corp helicopter from Finner has airlifted a 12-year-old boy who fell on Croagh Patrick to a hospital in Castlebar. It is understood that the boy sustained head and other injuries after falling 20ft. The mountain rescue team and the coastguard were also involved in the rescue operation.
