Michael Carruth faces an uncertain future following his latest professional defeat at the hands of Adrian Stone. Carruth had to shed eight pounds in just 48 hours, after turning up overweight for the official weigh-in on Friday. The loss of so much weight in such a short time took a severe toll and Carruth only lasted until the end of the fifth round. Carruth made it back to his corner but failed to come out for the sixth round. The former Olympic champion admitted yesterday evening that his career was at a crossroads.
