watch

Norway's Labour Party leader Jens Stoltenberg has said that he will try to form a new government. The move follows the resignation of the Christian Democrat led government of Kjell Magne Bondevik in an environmental dispute. Speaking after a meeting with King Harald at the royal palace in Oslo, Mr Stoltenberg said that he hoped a new government could be in place sometime next week. Labour is the biggest party with 65 of the 165 seats in parliament.
