Ehud Barak, Wants to hear what Arafat has to say
Israel is reported to have decided to postpone a withdrawal from part of the West Bank that was scheduled for Thursday under the latest peace accord. A spokesman for the Prime Minister Ehud Barak said that he first wanted to hear what Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat, has to say during his meeting in Washington with US President Bill Clinton before deciding which zone to pull out of. He added that, under the terms of the Israeli-Palestinian interim accords, Israel has the right to delay its military pullbacks for three weeks.
