The United States and China have signed an agreement that will pave the way for China's entry into the World Trade Organisation. The US Trade Representative said that the agreement is mutually satisfactory. Charlene Barshefsky said that it is conducive to China's entry into the WTO as soon as possible. The document said that the two sides have agreed on terms and conditions of access to China's market, including specific commitments on industrial goods, agricultural products and services.
